Very clean with a great view of Lake Sam Rayburn go look at pictures on Face Book
The cabins are falling down the new management are rude and lazy! It's not the great place it used to be when the elderly man and women were running the place!!!! And they have gone up on the rates 65% I was on a House boat with the younger man when it sank, I don't know! Something funny goin on back in them woods!! It would be worth your time and effort to check out Harris chain of lakes good fishing very nice cabins and lodge boats with electric motors are free and they have a water park for the kids and four Wheeler rental for $55 a day and 600 acres to explore and you can buy a $15 permit to pick up rocks on the edge of the water from the corps of engineers!
I didn't have very high expectation of the cabins given the price of a nights stay. I arrived late with my family and it was dark when we arrived. This was the first time that we had been to this area of the lake and the cabin was difficult to find once we had entered the property. Credit to management as I was given a number if I had any issues. The cabins were a bit run down, but appeared clean. Sometime during the night the cabin filled up with flying insects and kept my wife and I up through the night. I mentioned the issue about the bugs to the owner and he didn't seem to have any concerns over it. I feel the owner or management has allowed the very nice property to become a bit rundown. If you decide to stay here don't have high expectations. This is a really nice area of the lake and I hope that management can turn this place around.
